Madonna Veil

Another term for a shoulder veil, so called because of it's resemblance to a halo surrounding the head. Made from a double circle of tulle, with one layer folded over the headpiece to form a blusher veil. Length extends to just below the chin, barely touching the shoulders.

Mantilla

Of Spanish origin, a type of veil or shawl made from a circular piece of tulle or lace with lace edges that is draped around a bride's head and shoulders. Length may vary between elbow veil length and ballet veil length.
